18.06.010 Driving in a Careless, Negligent or Dangerous Manner.
It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle in the city in a careless, reckless, or wanton manner, or carelessly as to endanger life or property. (Ord. 310 Art. 5 Sec. 1 1-2-28)
18.06.020 Excessive Acceleration of Motor Vehicles.
It shall be unlawful for any person to test the acceleration of a motor vehicle; or accelerate a motor vehicle in such a manner so as to squeal the rear tires or spin the rear wheels; or race a motor vehicle even though below the maximum speed limit, upon any public street or way within the city.
18.06.030 Penalty.
Any person found guilty of violating any section of this chapter shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense.
