LIMITED LOAD STREETS AND BRIDGES

18.22.010 Limited Ton Bridges.
 
It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle on the bridge on Northeast Fourth Street between Johnson Street and Mill Street in the City of Fairfield, when the gross weight on the surface of the bridge through any axle of such vehicle exceeds seven tons, and on any street or bridge where the weight of vehicles permitted on such street or bridge is limited by ordinance and the signs indicating such limitations are posed, it shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle in excess of such weight on such street or bridge.

18.22.020 Penalty.
 
 Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense.
