14.14.010 Fireworks.
 
It is unlawful to store any fireworks in the city excepting as may be necessary for the performance of a public exhibition of pyrotechnics, as hereinafter provided for. Any such storage must be under the supervision of and subject to the approval of the fire chief.
It is unlawful to sell or offer for sate any fireworks or pyrotechnics in the city; provided, that public exhibitions of fireworks and pyrotechnics may be given if a permit therefor be granted by the mayor and city council.
Such exhibitions shall be given subject to the supervision of the Fire Chief or of some person designated by him.

14.14.020 Dynamite.
 
It shall be unlawful to keep or store nay dynamite in the City in excess of five pounds on any one premises or in any one building.

14.14.030 Nitroglycerine; TNT.
 
It shall be unlawful to keep or store any nitroglycerine or the explosive commonly known as TNT in the City in any quantities, excepting for medical or laboratory purposes, and for such purposes no more than one-quarter ounce shall be stored in any one building or premises.

14.14.040 Gunpowder.
 
It shall be unlawful to keep or store any black powder or gunpowder or guncotton in excess of five pounds on any one premises in the City.

14.14.050 Rules of State Fire Marshal.
 
All explosives kept or stored in the city shall be kept and stored in accordance with the rules enforced by the state fire marshal, with regard thereto. (See McQuillin Mun. Corp. (3rd Ed)) (24.471 ff.)

14.14.060 Penalty.
 
Any person, firm or corporation violating this Title shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $500.00 for each violation.
