OFFENSES AGAINST PROPERTY AND OFFENSES BY PROPERTY OWNERS

5.08.010 Missiles.
 
 It shall be unlawful to cast, throw or propel any missile on any street, alley or other public place. Any person violating any provision of this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than $5.00 nor more than $100.00.

5.08.020 Defacing Public and Private Property.
 
No person shall mark, injure, destroy, or deface or aid in injuring, destroying, or defacing in the City any public or private property; or mar, injure, destroy, or defaced any bridge, fence, tree, street sign, awning, lamppost, electric light post, or apparatus, or any other property not belonging t the person so offending, whether public or private. Any person violating any provision of this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than $5.00 nor more than $250.00.

5.08.030 Posting Bills.
 
 It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to post any bills or advertisements on any public property without the authority of the City; and it shall be unlawful to post any bill or advertisement on any property without the written consent of the owner thereof. Any person violating any provision of this section shall be subject to a fine of not less that $5.00 nor more than $100.00.

5.08.040 Soaping Windows of Property.
 
Any person found guilty of applying, smearing or using any substance including, but not limited to soap, tallow or chalk, upon the windows or glass of any property belonging to another, without the consent of the owner or possessor of said property, shall be fined the sum of not less than $10.00 nor more than $100.00. 5.08.050 Tearing Down Postings.
 
It shall be unlawful to tear down any poster, bill or notice, or advertisement posted up at any place in the City, not contrary to this code. Any person violating any provision of this Section shall be subject to a fine of not less than $5.00 nor more than $100.00. (Ord. 14 Sec. 75 8-14-22)
